Overview
The Mercedes EQA is the evidence that the transition to electric does not imply the transition to nothing. It will be based on a sophisticated iteration of the GLA platform and incorporation of the specific EV architecture, taking the urban driving of compact luxury SUVs into the zero-emission area, quietly, with ease, and with the full-blown Mercedes character. The EQA 250, priced at 66 lakh in India, is launched in 2024 and pairs a 385 Nm instant torque 188 hp front electric motor with a 70.5 kWh battery (which states claiming 560 km of range) and 170 kW DC fast charging, which charges the battery to 80 percent in 32 minutes. There are not very many pre-owned units, and they actually are very few and that is even more desired. BBT authorized models are on top of battery health verification and even have a warranty, which is an attractive alternative to BMW iX1 and Volvo EX30.
