It was known months ago that Volkswagen will introduce its Up! hatchback in the Auto Show, which is going to be held in Geneva in March 2016. However, auto enthusiasts have managed to not only dig out the photos of Volkswagen Up! but also the complete spec list it will come with.

According to the reports, Volkswagen has done extensive redesigning of both the exterior and interior of this car to make it a terrific competitor in the market. The main design changes that are made on the exterior of this car include a completely new front bumper that has fog lamps placed into it.

The headlight cluster of the new facelift now houses powerful LED DRLs. LED lights are also used for tail lights, and for the embedded indicators on the automatic ORVMs. The alloy wheels of this hatchback are also restyled and the tailgate has a chrome strip.

The company will offer Up! in 13 shades of colors. In addition, the customers can also get to choose from an option of 3 roof colors.

The interior of Volkswagen Up! has witnessed several changes, including a sleek designed dashboard that will be available in 10 different design layouts. Volkswagen seems to have not forgotten about the entertainment of the riders and has provided this facelift with a 300-watt Beats Audio System ably supported by a 7-speaker sound system.

Other major changes for the interior comfort include a Pure Air Climatronic automatic air conditioning system.

Volkswagen has not only made changes outside and inside the car, but has also touched its heart by providing this facelift hatchback with a new engine option.

The company is planning to sell Up! hatchback in three different engine variants. These include a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol motor, available in both normal mode as well as turbocharged mode. The normal mode of this engine is made available in two tune-up mode – one of them will give you 54bhp of power, whereas the other will offer 74bhp of power.

The turbocharged variant, on the other hand, will be able to give you a massive 100bhp of power. The company is also believed to be launching an all-electric version of this car, which will come with a more power efficient 3-cylinder engine that will be able to produce 54bhp of power.
