India Runway Week is the platform provided by IFFD (Indian Federation for Fashion Development) to the budding fashionistas and its 7th edition has just ended very successfully. This year, amidst all the achievements that Big Boy Toyz accomplished its partnership with IFFD for India Runway Week in the beginning of the year was one of major ones. IRW kick started from the 16th of September 2016 at the Thyagaraj Stadium, New Delhi, where many emerging models and fashion designers showcase their talent through the Asia’s youngest fashion trade event.
Right from Rajasthan Khadi by Bibi Russell, Daniel Syiem to Yoshita Couture by Yoshita Yadav and Style Sutra by Vinay Rana, the complete season of IRW 2016 has been a success. An event that supposes to add more names to the fashion industry was a grand success where creativity of the budding designers simply set the floor on fire. Where Mugdha Godse walked for Rakam to bring back the extraordinariness and admirableness of the aristocratic lady of the 17th century, the Big Boss 9 famed Mandana Karimi, on the other hand, ablaze the ramp for Studio AV by Gaurav & Nitesh.
However, in shimmering pink lehenga the real head turner was the Bollywood Diva, Esha Gupta, on the second day of the Fashion Week, who walked for designer Yoshita Yadav whose collection was inspired by the city of Nawabs – Lucknow.

In this collection, one can see a vivid representation of motifs taken from Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara and the Rumi Darwaza.”
The sister of the Nawab of Bollywood and a noted actress in herself, Soha Ali Khan, too was supposed to represent the collection of Shweta Sarda, Wander Lust. But due to some unavoidable reasons, she left without making it to the ramp. Shweta’s collection represents those women who love to travel the world and the glory of womanhood.
The designers who made the first day of the India Runway Week 2016 a grand success include the names of Miku Kumar, IGT By Isha Gupta Tayal, Aditya Khandelwal, Ishithaa Design House, Shreeya Somaiya, Preet Jhaver and Varija Bajaj and Satomi.
The 2nd day started with the heart winning ramp walk by the college students of Apeejay Institute of Design in creations of students. It was followed by Sahira by Yasmeen Mehra, Radhika Jindal and Kaaisha by Shalini. Disha Doshi Gandhi, Payal & Zinal, Stuti Shah, Rachat by Shruti & Rohan, Manika Sureka, Ravneet Toor, Foram Rambhia, Mithi Kalra and Ashfaque Ahmed were the promising fashion designers who showcased their designs at the Fashion Brooder Runway.
The last day of the event ended with showstopping performance Big Boy Toyz’s exotic cars right after the mapxencaRS by Riddhi & Siddhi set the required background on the stage at the grand finale. The three sexy beauties namely, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Audi in white, yellow and red attire along with the throttling sound of their engine simply took the breath away of the spectators.
18th September 2016, that is, Sunday, was the last day of the seventh edition of India Runway Week organized by IFFD and sponsored by Big Boy Toyz, the leading player in the pre-owned premium cars in India.
