Mercedes-Benz sells two-variants in India, powered by two-different petrol engines. The base variant is Mercedes-Maybach S560 Maestro edition which is powered by a 4.0-litre bi-turbocharged V8 Petrol engine which produces 469ps of power and 700nm of torque which send power to rear wheels via 9G Tronic automatic transmission to accelerate this uber luxurious sedan car from 0-100kmph in 4.9sec which comes with an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. The top model of Mercedes-Maybach is S650 which is powered by a 6.0-litre bi-turbocharged V12 engine which produces an enormous amount of torque. The power figure is rated at 630Ps and 1000Nm of torque and power is sent to rear driven wheels only. In order to control this enormous torque figure, Mercedes-Benz India has used conventional 7G tronic automatic transmission which accelerates this luxury sedan from 0-100kmph in just 4.7sec and flat out it will do 250kmph which is an electronically limited top speed. Mercedes-Maybach is the ultimate expression of luxury that includes the following features: MULTIBEAM LED with ULTRA RANGE High Beam headlights works seamlessly at nights and automatically dips few LEDs on on-coming traffic without disturbing the peripheral vision of the driver. Mercedes-Maybach chrome plated front grille is massive and features the biggest STAR logo at the centre. There is another upgraded chrome grille which can be bought at an additional cost, this grille is exclusive to Maybach models. Exterior dips in chrome from every angle you look at it. Front bumper is redesigned with angular front aprons that work as an air intake for the font engine bay which is highlighted by chrome bits all throughout the bumper. Side profile is majestic, it features chrome highlighting on the door surrounds and soft-touch door mechanism comes standard on Maybach models. Window surround is finished in CHROME highlighting which speaks opulence in every mm of exterior design. Mercedes-Maybach sits on 19-inch 5-twin-spoke light alloy wheels featuring a high sheen finish comes with mixed profile tyres with 245/45 R19 tires at front and 275/40 R19 section run-flat tyres at the rear. Whereas top model S650 comes with 19-inch Multi-spoke light alloy wheels finished in vanadium silver. Rear profile features a Chrome strip highlighting down at the bumper that features rear parking sensors and visible chrome plated exhaust tips. It features a power operated tailgate with automatic closing mechanism that gives access to 500 litres of boot space which is capable enough to house 4 larger size luggage bags. Mercedes-Maybach Interiors dips ecstasy, finished in Exclusive nappa leather upholstery in S560 and designo Exclusive semi-aniline leather upholstery in S650. Front cabin features electrically adjusted comfort seats with 3 preset memory for both occupants alongwith active shoulder bolsters and seat heating / ventilation / massaging functions come as standard.
