Founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg, Koenigsegg is a Swedish high performance sports/super cars manufacturer based in Ängelholm, Skåne County, Sweden. The philosophy at Koenigsegg is one, solely focused on performance. Every single detail of a Koenigsegg car is measured against a continuing goal: to enhance vehicle performance. This is reflected in everything that they do. The Koenigsegg CC prototype was first published in 1996 and the first customer delivery was a red CC8S in 2002 at the Geneva International Motor Show. In March 2009, the CCXR was listed by Forbes as one of "the world's most beautiful cars". And in the following year, December 2010, the Agera won the BBC Top Gear Hypercar of the Year Award.
