Mclaren is a British automobile manufacturer founded in 1985. Its headquarters is in Woking, England. Mclaren is known for its in-house produced sports cars. Mclaren is a subsidiary of the Mclaren group and as of 2017, it is a 100% owned subsidiary. The company released its first sports car – Mclaren F1 in 1992. Mclaren cars went under hibernation after the completion of the F1 car and did not return back till 2010 when they launched Mclaren Automotive. Mclaren has three range of cars – Sports Cars, Super Cars, and Ultimate Series. The Sports and Series cars are named as per their horsepower followed by a model designation such as GT for a grand tourer, S for sports, C for the club, etc. The sports series consists of – 570S Spider, 570 GT, 640C, 600LT, etc. The super series consists of 765LT, 720S, and 720S Spider. The ultimate series consists of Senna and Senna GTR, Speedtail, and Elva .
