Bugatti Chiron Sport is a lighter and agile version based on the standard Bugatti Chiron, if you could call a 1500PS, $3million HyperCar - a standard car. Bugatti Chiron Sport  makes for a 40kg weight saving over standard Chiron. Many internal changes have been introduced inorder to make room for a 40kg weight reduction starting with the carbon fibre windshield wiper arms. Major contribution comes from the lightweight forged alloy wheels with a new alloy wheel finish introduced with a Bugatti Chiron Sport. Interiors are made from alcantara instead of conventional leather upholstery that goes hand to hand with the more Sporty character and saves much weight over the leather upholstery. Bugatti Chiron Sport is a much more agile car around the corners than the Bugatti Chiron. New lighter and louder Titanium Exhaust System has been introduced with Chiron Sport which makes for a new exhaust outlet with four centre exited circular exhaust pipes instead of rectangular exhaust pipes in the standard exhaust system in Bugatti Chiron. After the introduction of Chiron Sport, most of the owners who are graced with the Bugatti Chiron opted to upgrade their forthcoming HyperCar to Chiron Sport. The standard Bugatti Chiron owner has the flexibility to opt for the “SPORT” package upgrade at a cost of $250,000. Bugatti Chiron Sport is priced at $3.25 Million without any options, considering the heavy import duties in India and US dollar exchange rates in Jan 2021, the local prices of Bugatti Chiron Sport is calculated at Rs 77.11 Crore.   

Bugatti Chiron Sport Features 

Bugatti Chiron Sport comes loaded with following features: At front is Bugatti’s iconic horseshoe grille finished with black enamel surrounds. Front bumper features a rectangular air intake with smooth finishes at the edge. Front splitter in carbon fibre can be equipped as a part of optional extra. Headlights are all-new with 8-LED light squares which will be operated automatically, these squares work as LED daytime running lamps and work as an air intake for the front brake discs. Side profile retains the sleek silhouette with the exterior defining character “C-Section” in darker chrome finish. Frameless doors are operated in a conventional way with keyless entry and exit functionality equipped as standard. Bugatti Chiron Sport features a 20-inch 5-Y-Spoke COURSE alloy wheels in gloss black finish wrapped in 285/30 R20 Michelin high-performance tires. Where the rear tire profile is a beefier 355/25 R20 Michelin high-performance tires. Braking performance is one of the best in the industry. At front, Bugatti Chiron Sport has got a pair of 420mm Carbon Silicon Carbide ventilated disc brakes with massive 8-piston calipers and titanium brake pads. Rear axle has got a pair of 400mm Carbon Silicon Carbide disc brakes with massive 6-Piston calipers and titanium brake pads. Rear profile features a massive active rear spoiler which operates at three different angles, it starts to go down as the speed climbs. This massive carbon fibre spoiler will also work as an air brake in case of hard deceleration. Rear section is completely open to exit hot air coming out of the rear engine bay.  As compared to the standard Bugatti Chiron, it has got a titanium exhaust system which is louder and lighter than the standard stainless steel exhaust system. Rear bumper features a quad circular exhaust pipe at the centre and two exhaust tips are exiting out from the rear diffuser. 

Interiors are covered in light weight material instead of Leather upholstery that saves much needed weight over the leather interior. Steering wheel is an aluminium flat bottom unit with carbon fibre section at upper section and bottom section, alcantara material is used to wrap it around the grip area. Steering wheel is an electrically assisted unit that gains weight as the speed increases and comes with electrical adjustment for reach and rake. SkyView lounge is a recently introduced optional extra which gives two fixed glass sections on the roof and in order to equip this optional extra you have to spend a mere $60,000. Interiors are completely dechromed where all the shiny finish is replaced with anodised black aluminium finish. Centre part of the dashboard features an anodised black aluminium strip with four rotary dials finished in black anodised aluminium finish with knurled effect over the circumference. Front cabin features a black-out carbon fibre back electrically operated Sport Seats with fixed headrest restraint and heated sport seat. Centre console is clutter free, it won't feature any rotary dial or anything jazzy stuff as such instead beyond the anodised black alcantara wrapped gear lever it is all beautifully wrapped in leather to rest your hand while munching miles carrying three-digit speed. Instrument cluster’s right TFT digital display is used for the entertainment purposes which comes mated to a Hi Performance high-end music system by ACCUTON which does not support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto but comes with GPS Satellite Navigation System and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless music playback through smartphone. 6-Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake Distribution, Brake Assist, Traction Control, 4-Driving modes, Tire Pressure Monitoring System that shows upto two-decimal places, hill-hold assist, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera with guidance, seat belt pretensioners, electric handbrake, adaptive cruise control system, vehicle lifting system, dynamic torque vectoring system all comes as a part of safety features list.

Bugatti Chiron Sport comes with latest updation in lightweight exhaust system, this is the very first model on which Bugatti Automobiles SPA introduced the factory fitted lightweight Titanium Exhaust System which gives the ore aggressive looks to the exhaust pipes as well where quad circular exhaust pipes produces the most raw orchestra out of this quad-turbocharged W16 power plant. Newly introduced pair of 20/21 inches forged alloy wheels at front/rear axle combines at all corners to save a few kgs of unsprung mass so that this powerful machine could accelerate faster. Bugatti Chiron Sport is the first super sport car which comes with a carbon fibre front windshield wiper arm which saves 1.8kgs out from the conventional system.
