The petrol version of the smallest SUV by Audi, Q3, has been launched in India today at an ex-showroom, Delhi, price of Rs. 32.2 Lakh. With this, the Q3 becomes the first Q model of Audi to receive a petrol sibling for the Indian portfolio. With Q3, the Ingolstadt based carmaker has till yet introduced 4 of its models this year, which include A4 Diesel, A3 Cabriolet facelift and Q3 SUV (2.0 TDI FWD and 2.0 TDI Quattro, both diesel). The bookings for the much awaited petrol variant are now open.

Loaded with expressive features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, Deluxe 2-zone Automatic AC, LED front lights with signature LED-powered DRLs and panoramic sunroof, the luxury SUV from the stable of Audi provides utmost comfort to its riders.

Mated to an all new 6-speed S-TRONIC tranny, the aforementioned engine delivers a maximum power output of 150PS alongside a peak torque of 250Nm. The combination sends equal power to the front wheels, which helps the Q3 to achieve a target of 0-100Kmph in mere 8.9 seconds. Also, the SUV is has received an ARAI-certificate of fuel economy for delivering a figure of 16.9Kmpl.
The exterior of the Audi Q3 has been refurbished where the front bumper has been restyled and now comes with new air inlets. The rest remains the same as that of its diesel kin.
The 2017 Audi Q3 will compete against the likes of BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA in India. As far as the price is concerned, the new kid on the block is the most affordable among its lot, as its diesel siblings cost Rs. 34.2 lakh (2.0 TDI FWD) and Rs. 37.2 lakh (2.0 TDI Quattro) ex-showroom, Delhi. The company is also planning to launch the refurbished version of A3 sedan in India next week on 6th April, 2017.
