Porsche 911 Carrera S is the most popular variant in the Porsche iconic range of sports car in India. Porsche 911 Carrera S is the middle variant and powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat  engine which is same as the one found in Porsche 911 Carrera but here it is producing 450PS / 444BHP at 6500 RPM and 530NM torque between 2300 RPM to 5000 RPM. Power and torque figures are up by 65Ps and 80NM respectively compared to Porsche 911 Carrera. Power is sent to rear wheels only via 8-Speed Dual Clutch PDK Automatic Transmission. The acceleration is much improved from 4.2sec in Porsche 911 Carrera down to 3.7sec in 911 Carrera S and top speed is raised from 293kmph to 308kmph. Porsche India has priced it Rs 1.84 cr ex-showroom India before options.

Porsche 911 Carrera S comes with a pair of automatic fully LED headlight setup with 4-dot LED daytime running lamps as standard whereas adaptive LED headlamps with PDLS, Matrix LED headlamps with PDLS Plus can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Front fascia is reminiscent to the Porsche 911 range of the past, it retains the front luggage space by offering 132-litres of front luggage space. Front bumpers offer two larger air intake on each side supported by the LED fog lamp strip and bigger opening in the centre. Gloss black highlighting elements came standard with the car whereas exterior carbon fibre package can be opted at additional cost where the front lip is made of carbon fibre, then carbon fibre front air intake cover, carbon fibre side mirror cap, carbon fibre rear diffuser. Flat and metallic exterior shades are standard but in order to paint your new Porsche 911 Carrera S in premium metallic and special paint shade, you have to shell out extra money over and above the Rs 1.84 cr base price. Side profile is dominated by a staggered alloy wheel setup, measuring at 20-inch at front with 245/35 R20 tires and 21-inch alloy wheels at the rear with 305/30 R21 tires at the rear for much improved traction. Braking setup is improved over the Porsche 911 Carrera, measuring at 350mm ventilated drilled steel rotor with 6-piston calipers at front and measuring at 350mm ventilated drilled steel rotor with 4-piston calipers at the rear. Whereas lightweight, strong and bigger Porsche Carbon Ceramic Braking system can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Rear profile now features the bigger active rear spoiler than the previous generation Porsche 911. This wing covers almost the entire width of the car, rear bumper features a quad exhaust pipe which comes courtesy of a stainless steel exhaust system whereas active sports exhaust system that comes with oval exhaust tips at the rear - can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Rear LED taillight is all-new and it has got a slimmer profile with continuous LED light bar which makes it inline with other Porsche models. 

Interiors are covered in mono tone premium leather upholstery with fabric being used as headliner.
