2021 BMW M5 Competition India

2021 BMW M5 Competition LCI is the mid-cycle facelifted version of the all-new BMW 5 Series unveiled in late 2015. This facelifted luxury performance car by BMW India comes hosted with the welcome design chinese to give it the fresh look. For instance, it is powered by the same petrol power plant found in the outgoing model which is a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 unit producing 625Ps / 616 BHP @ 6000 rpm and 750nm max torque from 1800 rpm and stays flat till 5860 rpm. Power is going to an intelligent xDrive system which means it powers all four wheels with rear power biased character. 8-Speed M Steptronic automatic transmission with drivelogic and launch control system means it will accelerate 0-100kmph in just 3.3sec and flat out it will do an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph which can be unlocked when opted for M Drivers package at additional cost, that will raise the top speed to 300kmph. This updated BMW M5 Competition boasts updated BMW Laserlight headlight setup with L-Shaped LED daytime running lamps, updated rear tail light, M Sports exhaust system, bigger 12.3-inch entertainment screen, updated suspension calibration over the previous generation model. BMW India has launched this model at the base price of Rs 1.62cr ex-showroom india without options.

2021 BMW M5 Competition comes with the following features list: Front the front it features blacked out dual kidney grille, front bumper’s air intake with highlighted sections in gloss black as a part of Competition package. Front profile features a pair of updated BMW Laser headlight setup which comes with L-Shaped LED daytime running lamps, auto high beam assist with cornering functionality and power headlight washer. Front bumper is redesigned slightly to give the fresh look, it features air inlets on either side and on the centre section along with the active front kidney grille provides much needed cool air to the front mounted engine that not only generates loads of heat but it needs loads of air for internal combustion in order to produces maximum power of 625PS. Side profile features the redesigned pair of M light weight alloy wheels 20-inch of sizes and comes wrapped in mixed size performance tires where the front axle comes with 275/35 R20 run flat tires and the rear axle features 285/35 R20 run flat tires. Braking setup comprises M Compound Disc brake setup as standard which can be upgraded to BMW M Ceramic Brakes at additional cost. Electrically operated rear view mirrors come with heated and memory functions as standard. Side window profile features Black Shadow lines. M Carbon Fibre roof comes standard which not only gives it track ready look but it also lowers the centre of gravity which improves handling balance on high speed turns. Rear profile features an updated pair of LED tail lights with integrated fog lamps. M Sport exhaust system comes as standard fitment which features a quad exhaust system with dual tail pipes on each side. Power assisted rear tail boot features 530-litres of usable boot space which makes this performance sedan a very practical car but the majority of the boot space is occupied by the space saver wheel and tire. 

Interior comes with plush Merino leather upholstery with extended elements on the dashboard, door carts, centre console. Driver zone consists of a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster which offers multiple display modes that can be changed in harmony with different driving modes on offer. Leather wrapped steering wheel is an electrically assisted unit which comes with multifunctional buttons including to M1 and M2 button which gives the flexibility to configure the car in two different settings and that can be toggled between while in-move. Front cabin features a pair of electrically adjustable M Sport seats which come with a lit-up M5 logo in the lower section of headrest, good passive slide bolstering that will give you support in high speed cornering, memory function for driver, heated seats for driver and co-driver comes standard. Rear cabin features a conventional bench seating layout with ample space to host three adults. Rear heated seats, cooled and massaging front seats can be equipped as part of optional extras. Entertainment package includes an updated 12.3-inch high definition touchscreen display which comes with a Harman/Kardon Music system capable of producing a maximum output of 464watts through 16 speakers. Wireless integration of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along, GPS Navigation system including 3D maps, enhanced voice control, latest generation of iDrive operating system featuring rotary dial w/ handwriting recognition. Rear entertainment package, Bowers & Wilkins upgraded music system, M head-up display, 360 degree surround camera system, soft-close door mechanism all can be equipped at an additional cost.
