Nissan Motors is a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer founded in 1933. It is headquartered in Nishi-Ku, Yokohama. They sell their cars under the brand names of Nissan, Infiniti, and Datsun. Nissan has been part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance since 1999. Nissan is a leading Japanese brand in China, Mexico, and Russia and also the largest manufacturer of Electric Vehicles (EV). Nissan’s top-selling fully electric model is the Nissan LEAF, a five-door hatchback launched its first generation in 2010. In 1985 Nissan created a tuning division called Nismo for the performance development of the cars. They also produced memorable sports cars such as the Z-car an affordable sports car and GT-R an all-wheel-drive sports coupe. Nissan GT R is a flagship sportscar by Nissan India. It is a successor to the R34 Skyline which was very famous for its flexible powertrain. Nissan GT R is available in one variant and comes via the CBU route in India. Nissan GT R is priced at Rs 2.12 crore ex-showroom India. It is powered by a 3.5-Litre turbocharged V6 engine which sends power to all four wheels that makes it accelerate from 0-100km/h in 2.5sec. The acceleration figures are not official numbers but some automobile journalists have managed to achieve that acceleration timing running it off the line.
