Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4matiuc+ is the brand’s flagship SUV which is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 Petrol engine which punches out 557PS / 549BHP power at 5250 rpm and 730NM max torque at 1200 rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an intelligent 4Matic system and power is put to the tarmac via an 9G Tronic automatic transmission. Mercedes India has priced this uber luxurious SUV at Rs 2.43 cr ex-showroom India.

2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4matic+ comes with the following features list. Despite being designed and made on Mercedes-Benz GLS model, the front Maybach exclusive grille gives an overall different and very appealing stance to this luxury suv, chrome plated grille with Maybach engraved in the centre does add to another luxury level that this suv offers over and above the GLS. Front bumper is all changed and decorated with chrome elements, the front bumper features dual side inlet song with centre inlet works as an air streamer for the front mounted AMG sourced 4.0-litre V8 engine. Side profile is big, just like the normal GLS. But the alloy wheel design is all new, big and very classy just like any other Maybach model. As standard Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4matic comes with a set of 21-inch alloy wheels but the wheel arches are so humongous that the bigger 21-inch alloy looks smaller hence Mercedes India is offering a set of 22-inches and 23-inches at additional cost. Side profile is all decorated with chrome, from side window profile to side skirts with the contrasted finished side rear view mirror if the owner wishes. Side mirror package with heated and memory function comes as standard along with chrome finished roof rails, soft close door mechanism, electrically deployable side step board with comfort access for all the occupants. Rear profile looks very different with the use of chrome elements, roof mounted spoiler is standard, it features chrome strip on the end of powered tailgate, chrome plated dual exhaust tips gives a very luxurious feel on the rear end. Newly designed pair of LED taillights looks a little smaller compared to the overall profile of the rear end. Power operated and gesture operated tailgate offers ample of luggage space but it will completely be dependent on what spec you choose, as with the 5-seating layout without rear refrigerator will give you the best in class luggage space, 4-seat layout with rear refrigerator won’t give you much of luggage space as does the former configuration. 

Interior is finished in single tone fine nappa leather upholstery as standard with alcantar being used as headliner material. Whereas dual tone leather hide and designo exclusive leather package can be spec’d as a part of optional extras which gives your extra leather on door pad, on centre console and on A, B, C and D-pillar. Standard equipment includes: Panoramic Sunroof, 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster with multiple display mode which can be toggled through a switch in multifunctional steering wheel. As standard, a single hide leather wrapped multifunctional steering wheel comes standard which can be adjusted electrically for reach and rake. Whereas dual tone steering wheel along with wooden hide steering wheel can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Front cabin features an all electric pair of comfort seats with heated, ventilated and massaging function as standard. Entertainment package includes a 12.3-inch high definition touch screen unit which works on the latest generation of MBUX systems. Burmester Sound System which is capable of operating at maximum output of 580 watts through 16 speakers comes standard whereas Burmester 3D sound system or Burmester 4D high end sound system can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS navigation system with 3D maps, bluetooth connectivity for wireless music streaming, connected apps for added customer ease, wireless charging pad at front and rear. Rear cabin features a conventional bench seating layout as standard where outer seats can be adjusted electrically and features lateral side bolsters, power operated headrest with alcantara cushion, extras soft underthigh extension. By paying a little extra, you can spec an executive lounge chair with extended centre armrest. These individual chairs feature active shoulder and side bolstering, memory function, heated neck section, alcantara extension headrest restraint, heated, ventilated and massaging function. For extras added luxury and comfort you can spec a rear refrigerator with two champagne flutes with temperature controlled cup holders. Mercedes India is providing a pair of foldable work tables in the centre console. Rear entertainment package can be equipped as part of optional extras.
