The 2021 Ferrari 812 GTS is the first series production V12, hardtop convertible Ferrari Supercar in its 50 years of history. Under the front bonnet lies the 6.5-Litres Naturally Aspirated V12 Petrol engine which punches out 800PS / 789BHP of power at 8500 RPM and 718Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. Power is going to rear wheels only via 7-Speed Dual Clutch Automatic Transmission. This screaming front mid-mounted engine can accelerate this flagship Ferrari model from 0-100kmph in 2.9sec and flat out it will do 340kmph top speed. The most important and unique aspect is the hardtop metal folding roof mechanism which can be operated electrically while cruising upto the speed of 50kmph. This is quite a rare sight to see on series production flagship Ferrari V12 supercars. Ferrari SPA is getting a lot of interest in this very model and it is quite impressive to see the very first Ferrari 812 GTS’s got delivered in December 2020 in the capital of India, Delhi. This exclusive convertible Grand Tourer doesn’t come cheap as Ferrari India has priced this supercar at Rs 5.79 cr ex-showroom India before options making it one of the most expensive cars available in the country.

2021 Ferrari 812 GTS comes with automatic LED Headlights with LED daytime running lamps as standard where adaptive LED projector headlight setup with auto high beam assist and auto headlight leveller can be equipped as a part of optional extras. If a buyer decided to equip the front nose lifting system on this rare Ferrari Supercar then it can only be equipped in pair with the adaptive LED headlights. Front nose has been redesigned compared to its predecessor Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Front nose has been opened up completely to allow as much air inside the front engine bay to cool down the massive V12 engine. Certainly when 800PS power is available on tap which is capable of accelerating from 0-100kmph in 3sec flat it certainly requires a powerful brake force which is done by Carbon Ceramic Braking System measuring at 398mm at front and 360mm at the back. Front splitter is redesigned which channels out air inside the front arches in order to cool down the massive brakes which get very hot inorder to stop this 1.65 tonnes of Italian Masterpiece. Side profile features a staggered 20-inch forged alloy wheel setup with 275/35 R20 high-performance tires at front and 315/35 R20 high-performance tires providing ample grip on the rear axle whereas there are an option to choose 21-inch alloy wheels with diamond cut alloy wheel fascia as a part of optional extras. Side profile is sculpted to manage the uninterrupted flow to air and it is designed in a way that air sticks towards the side of the car and keeps it stable under high acceleration. Side skirts guide the air throughout the side and channel it in a way to pave the flawless path to the side. Ferrari India is offering a powerful Carbon Ceramic Braking Performance setup as standard on this powerful supercar where front disc size measures at 398mm with 6-piston and 360mm disc size with 4-piston caliper at the rear. Rear profile features quad exhaust tips come courtesy of a stainless steel exhaust system that provides screaming sound out from this naturally aspirated V12 engine. Rear profile is redesigned and gives a more girthier stance with quad circular LED tail light setup that resembles LeMans Endurance style cars. Power operated tailgate opens like a hatchback and hides 210-litres of luggage space which comes handy for grand touring. 

Interior are covered in premium leather upholstery in mono tone whereas there is an almost endless colour combination to choose from, to spec the interior in as unique a way as possible as the owner desires. As standard it comes with 6-way electrically adjustable comfort seats whereas carbon fibre backed fixed bucket seats to electrically adjustable DAYTONA style racing seats can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Driver zone comprises a big analog dial in the centre of the instrument binnacle that reads out 8750 rpm readline and peak power produced at 8500 RPM. This big analog rev counter is complemented by two analog TFT displays where the left display shows the vehicle centric information whereas the right side displays the navigation maps with digital speed including driver oriented information. Multifunctional steering wheel is a new age Ferrari steering wheel which is an electrically assisted steering rake with steering column mounted extended paddle shifters which provide lightning fast gear shifting. Different driving modes can be toggled via manettino switch situated on the lower right side of the steering wheel. Circular AC vents look like the one taken from a fighter jet. 2-Zone automatic climate control system, cup holder, media input port, 4 speaker standard audio system, anthracite headliner, frameless doors, Ferrari Lettering stainless steel side sill plate, 4-airbags, ABS, EBD, TC, TPMS, electrically operated outside rear view mirror, automatic LED headlight setup with LED daytime running lamps came as part of standard equipment list.
