The Lamborghini Aventador S is the mid-cycle facelifted model based on the original Lamborghini Aventador first introduced in 2011 Geneva International Motor Show. It offers more power and torque from the same 6.5-Litre Naturally Aspirated V12 engine with sme lighter and improved internals to produce 740PS / 731BHP of power at 8400 RPM and 690NM of torque at 5500 RPM. This engine is mated to a robotised manual independent shift-rod 7-Speed Single Clutch Transmission. A permanent all-wheel drive system which is rear biased to accelerate from 0-100kmph in 2.9sec and flat-out it will accelerate until 350kmph / 217mph top speed is achieved. Lamborghini India knows we Indians love big Lamborghini’s and they have priced it at Rs 5.01 crore ex-showroom India before any options.

The Lamborghini Aventador S comes with following features: Lamborghini Aventador S carries a pair of fully LED automatic projector headlamps setup with Y-Shaped LED daytime running lamps. Under the front bonnet is a 140-litres of luggage space which can swallow a couple of medium size backpacks. Front bumper is rather angular and serves the front end aerodynamic efficiency with 130% improved downforce than the original Lamborghini aventador. Front bumper features a snake-like front end loo which guides the air through the front aprons. Side profile is rather Lamborghini speciality, with sharp creases flows through the entire length of the car, sharper edging over the frameless scissor doors, rear quarter panel features a fixed air vents directly feeds air to te engine complemented with a giant opening in lower quarter profile that houses big radiator grill helps to cool down massive naturally aspirated V12 engine. As standard Lamborghini Aventador S is equipped with 20-inch Dione Forged Silver Aluminium Wheel comes wrapped in 255/30 R20 tires at front and rear has a staggered set of 21-inch Dione Forged Silver Aluminium Alloy Wheel comes wrapped in 355/25 R21 section high-performance tires. Suspension setup is rather trick and comes directly from Motorsport, it features a pushrod Magnetorheological suspension with active damping system which connects directly to the engine and makes the rear mid-mounted engine as a structural part of the carbon-fibre tub. Rear profile is the business end as it displays the 6.5-Litre naturally aspirated V12 power plant through a transparent engine glass cover which is equipped with optional extras where black opaque engine cover comes as standard. Rear tail light is again a defining character with Y-shaped LED tail lamps. Whole centre section is optimised to extract hot air out from the massive engine. Rear bumper is rather small as the lower rear section is dominated by a huge diffuser which can be equipped in exposed carbon fibre finish at an additional cost. Centre exited triple exhaust tips comes courtesy of a sports exhaust system as standard that can be upgraded to Lamborghini Original Titanium Racing Exhaust System. 

Interiors are aerospace grade, this is how a supercar interior should feel and looks like. It looks big but it doesn't offer much space, it looks fuzzy but everything is in hand’s reach and don’t even think about the practicality because it does not offer much storage space whatsoever to store your wallets, mobiles or that stuff. It offers a mix of alcantara and suede material for added sport feel. Steering wheel is an electro-hydraulic unit works as a Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) system with variable locking ratios, it is a multifunctional leather wrap steering wheel which comes with steering column mounted extended paddle shifter with manual adjustment for reach and rake. Behind that is a fully digital instrument binnacle which changes the displays entirely depending upon the driving modes on offer that can be controlled via a slew of buttons situated in the centre console. Entertainment display is a smaller 6.5-inch display supported by a slew of shortcut keys around that works with standard music systems which can be upgraded to a hi-fi sensonum sound system at an additional cost like Apple CarPlay and GPS Navigation system. Interior cabin can be equipped with multiple seating options but as standard electrically sliding and reclining comfort seats with an option to upgrade it with electric lumbar support & heated/ventilated options. Carbon bucket seats with mixed backrest and manual sliding column can be equipped at an additional cost. 4-Airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, TC, TPMS, Front and rear parking sensors, Remote Central Locking, Seat Belt Pretentioners, Cornering Brake Control, Electric Parking Brake, Speed Sensing Door Locks came as a standard safety equipment.

Lamborghini Aventador S Latest Updates

Lamborghini Aventador S comes with a latest generation of rear wheel steering system which reduces the turning radius immensely. It will make a three-point turn in a one-point turn only. At high speed rear wheels turn in the same direction to the front for added stability and at lower speeds they turn in the opposite direction to the front wheels, virtually reducing the wheelbase and making a sedan feel like a hatchback. Exteriors are upgraded to improve aerodynamic efficiency with redesigned front bumper that increases the front-end downforce by 130% over the original Lamborghini Aventador and rear quarter profile features a fixed upper air intake to feed the air all-of-the time which was first an electrically operated vent that opens and closes depending upon the temperature in the engine bay.
