The Audi A8L is a full-size luxury sedan manufactured in 1994 and currently in its fourth generation. The Audi A8 offers both front or permanent all-wheel drive and short and long-wheelbase variants. The A8L is based on Volkswagen’s Group MLB platform. It retains the Audi Space Frame aluminum construction the same as the previous A8. Audi A8L 55 TFSI Quattro is the flagship luxury sedan in Audi India’s lineup. Audi A8L comes with cutting edge technology which will be catered down to lower models in coming future. This newer generation of luxury sedan is launched with top of the line variant. Audi A8L 55 TFSI Quattro is priced at Rs 1.56 crore ex-showroom India. This luxury sedan is launched as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) to be imported directly from Germany. Audi A8L is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 Petrol engine that punches out 340PS / 335BHP of power and 500NM of torque, with QUATTRO all-wheel-drive system this luxury lump of over 2-tonnes can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 5.7sec and flat-out it will do an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.

Audi A8L 55 TFSI Quattro comes with top of the line features that includes: HD Matrix LED Automatic Headlights w/ Auto-high beam assist on either side of the front profile with headlamp washer and LED daytime running lamps. Front grille is inspired by the Prologue design concept shown a few years back,  it is a redesigned and refreshed look based out of iconic hexagonal Audi’s grills in the past. Front bumper adds another level to Audi's sophisticated design language with the chrome highlighting around the front aprons. Side profile is sleek and carries more wheelbase than the previous generation of Audi A8L. It is now made on Audi Space Frame, suspension setup is very clever it can drop the ride height in order to get in and out of the car more easily, with adaptive air suspension setup at all corners gives the unmatched ride quality. 19-inch 5-arm-style light cast alloy wheels used which come with 245/45 R19 run-flat tires at all corners for smooth ride quality. Rear profile is updated with a new pair of LED tail lamps with integrated LED fog lamps, Rear parking sensors are neatly integrated in the rear bumper along with chrome visible exhaust tips at either ends. Interior is covered in Valcona Leather upholstery and there are multiple colour combinations to choose from. At front Audi India has equipped this flagship luxury sedan with new generation of comfort seats which comes with 28-way Electrically adjustment that include underthigh extension, shoulders support, seat heating, ventilation, massaging with 2 preset memory function for both the occupants whereas rear seats are individual electric comfort seats with electric recline, powered headrest restraint, active side bolster, seat heating, ventilation, massaging functionality all comes as standard. Standard comfort equipment list include 4-zone climate control system, ambient lighting system, temperature controlled cup holders, wireless charging pad for smartphone charging, auto dimming IRVM and ORVM, head-up display, powered rear window and windshield blind, rear touchscreen tablet to control rear comfort access, rear entertainment package that include two-tiltable touchscreen HD displays with wireless headphones, 8-airbags, reversing camera with adaptive guidelines, 360 degree bird’s eye view surround camera system, front and rear parking sensors with parking aid plus, 10.1-inch HD multimedia touchscreen display comes paired with 16 speakers Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System with 3D sound (705 W) supported with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS Navigation system with 3D maps all comes as a part of standard equipment list.
