Finally putting an end to the long wait by the car aficionados in India, Volvo India has added the name of its much popular sedan, Volvo S90, in the models list on its official website. Although the launch is expected by the end of this year, most probably in the month of October, this step by the premium cars automaker has put an end to the speculations that were taking rounds in the car market for the past few months.
The saloon will follow the CBU route to make its way to the Indian soil and will complete against the likes of Audi A6, Jaguar XF, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-class. Volvo S90 will be the replacement of its elder sibling S80 sedan and will be the flagship model for the brand. Though nothing confirm has came out from the mouth of Volvo officials regarding the pricing of this sexy beast, the rumor mill has churned out the range to be between Rs. 55 Lakh to Rs. 60 Lakh.
Like the recently launched Volvo XC90, the S90 too is based on the new Scalable Product Architecture of Volvo. The Swedish auto manufacturer has blessed its new model with the company's latest design philosophy that gives the saloon a stunning look with robust build and makes it stand apart from the regular crowd of other sedans.

In simple words, the flagship S90 shares most of the exterior looks to that of its new generation sibling, XC90. Unlike its predecessor, S90 has got a sleeker body by shedding off the usual heavy-shouldered appearance and chunky look that altogether make the beauty to have more elegant approach than ever.
