After the Aventador SuperVeloce, Lamborghini is one the roll working on the new Lamborghini Aventador HyperVeloce. But according to the reports that have emerged, it seems that the car is supposed to be called the Centenario as a way to celebrate 100 years of birth of the company's founder Feruccio Lamborghini. The car will be revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, which is exactly a month before the anniversary of Feruccio as he was born on 28th April, 1916.
Apparently the teams at Lamborghini are planning to make the Centenario that is based on the Aventador, an even faster one than the basic Aventador. The car is named LP770-4 and that is because the company plans to make this original Aventador's 6.5-litre V12 engine to churn out 770BHP of power. Now that is a lot of power, if you ask us, considering that the original engine makes about 690BHP of power. That is like 80BHP more compared to the basic using the same engine.
This all power is going to be transmitted to the car via an all-wheel drive system and even the performance figures are supposed to really stellar where officials have claimed that the car can sprint from 0-100kmph in a measly 2.7 seconds.
That is a whole 0.2 seconds faster than the Aventador. Also the top speed has been increased to north of 350kmph making it one of the fastest cars to roll out of the Lamborghini shop.
Source: https://img.over-blog-kiwi.comLooking at all those figures it comes as no surprise that the company has limit the production of this car to just 20 units and, sadly for many, they are just going to be coupes; but then we understand the reason for that since with all the power generated, Lamborghini will be looking to make the car as compact as possible and plus there are a lot of other technicalities as well.
But this might disappoint some more people because earlier Lamborghini had said that among the 20 units, 10 would be roadster variants and that had given a bit of excitement to the car aficionados.
But then we have to accept the fact as it is, as there is nothing we can do about it. Something like this reminds us of another Lamborghini limited edition car the Veneno that was an amazing beauty and most importantly it was a MASTERCLASS DESIGN.

But then before you might even decide about getting this car, you might actually find the car to be sold out already before it is even launched, as the company has the knack to approach potential buyers with the cars before they even launch it.
One thing though that needs to be mentioned is that unlike the Veneno, the Centenario LP770-4 is not touted to be as extravagantly designed. The designing of the car is expected to be a lot more conservative and Aerodynamic to keep the car fast.
Taming the car in terms of looks can still be acceptable, but the car should definitely be impressive in terms of performance and at the end of the day, that is what counts.
