Porsche 718 Cayman is the most affordable sports car by Porsche India. Porsche Cayman is a very popular model in their sports car lineup, being a entry-level sports car doesn’t mean that it is soft or fragile. This is the first time ever, Porsche India has used a smaller turbocharged 2.0-litre Turbocharged Petrol engine that punches out 300Ps / 295BHP power at 6500 RPM and 380NM torque from 2050 to 4500 RPM. Sending the power to rear wheels via 7-Speed PDK Automatic Transmission that means 0-100kmph acceleration is achieved in 4.9sec when equipped with Sports Chrono Package which enables launch control. Flat out it will have an unrestricted top speed of 275kmph. Porsche India has managed to keep the price under Rs 1 cr mark, actually it starts at Rs 85.46 lakh before options where Porsche India is offering tons of options to make it a one-off if someone can pay the price of pricy options - that make Porsche India stand out from the competition.

Porsche 718 Cayman comes with a pair of LED automatic headlamp with Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS) & 4-Dot LED Daytime running lamps as standard whereas Matrix LED Automatic headlight system with PDLS Plus and LED Automatic headlight with auto high beam assist headlight setup can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Front bumper is designed to feed cool air through the side air intake which houses the radiator grille. The LED fog lamp is situated on either side of the front bumper. Since Porsche 718 Cayman has a rear mid-mounted engine hence it offers a 150-litres of luggage space under the front boot lid. Side profile features a coupe roofline hence the side window profile is big and as standard it comes with chrome decorative elements. Porsche 718 Cayman comes fitted with a 18-inch dual arm spoke alloy wheels with mixed profile rubber at front and rear axle. Rectangular shape centre exited exhaust pipe work with rear diffuser to create the low pressure area where the back of the car is sucked. LED tail light comes standard where rear smoked tail light setup can be equipped as an optional extras. 

Interior is very luxurious and very well built just like the interiors of any Porsche model. Porsche India has not done any quality compromise even on the entry-level sports car. It has got an updated 7-inch high definition multi touch display supports Porsche Communication Management (PCM), Hi-Fi Sound System with 150 Watts maximum output comes standard whereas CD/DVD player, Apple CarPlay, GPS Navigation System, upgraded BOSE surround sound system and Burmester sound system can be equipped as a part of optional extras. Instrument cluster comprises a big analog tachometer and complemented by a dual TFT display.
