McLaren 570S Spider is a two-part metal folding roof convertible high-end sports car by McLaren India. McLaren 570S Spider’s convertible  roof mechanism adds to the sense of occasion every time you - a driver, puts the roof down and gets connected with the surroundings. McLaren 570S Spider is powered by a 3.8-Litre Twin-Turbocharged V8 Petrol engine inherited from its coupe sibling, this engine punches out 570PS / 562BHP of power and 600NM of torque, going to rear wheels only. With the latest electronic wizardry, it is capable of achieving 0-100kmph acceleration run in 3.2sec which is identical to the coupe, flat out it will do a top speed of 328kmph. Getting the roof removed weakens the car structurally since McLaren is using carbon-fibre monocoque which has made in a way that its strength doesn’t come from the roof as a structural part hence McLaren India has managed to sustain the same performance figures like its coupe sibling. Front and rear parking sensors are kept as optional extras along with front axle nose lifting system which protects the front lip from scraping. Adaptive LED headlights setup with an auto bending projector is a mandatory option to have while opting for a front nose lift system.
