Lexus ES 300h Exquisite is an entry-level luxury sedan offered by Lexus India. Lexus India is offering a hybrid only model in India and this is no exception. It is powered by a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated in-line 4-cyl Petrol engine which punches out 178PS / 176BHP power at 5700 RPM and 210NM max torque from 3600 rpm to 5200 rpm. Power is sent to rear wheels only and controlled via 6-Speed CVT automatic transmission. This Petrol engine works with a set of Nickel-Metal Hydride battery pack at rear axle which alone provides 120PS / 118BHP of max power and 202NM of max torque from zero rpm. When combined together this hybrid powertrain punches out 218PS / 215BHP of max power, which accelerates this luxury sedan from 0-100kmph in 8.5sec, flat-out it will do a 180kmph top speed. The presence of hybrid powertrain not only reduces the amount of CO2 emission in the environment but it also runs cleaner and provides 22.58kmpl fuel efficiency. Lexus ES 300h Exquisite comes with a pair of 3-Eye LED automatic headlight with self-levelling system comes with a LED wide-angle cornering lamps with L-Shaped LED daytime running lamps. Front grille is big and comes with chrome finish throughout the edging with a big LEXUS logo at the centre. Side profile comes with a pair of 18-inch multi spoke aluminium wheels with metallic grey finish and comes paired with 235/45 R18 tubeless tires on front and rear axle. Side window profile is big and lets lots more air and light enter the cabin to give virtually a bigger interior sense of space. Keyless entry, chrome side skirts, ventilated disc brakes, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirror, with integrated indicators comes standard.
