Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Revealed; Only 500 Units to be Sold

Porsche has always been a classic example for luxury, class, comfort and style and this is the probably the reason why the marque is enjoying a successful stay in the automobile markets of the developing nations, including India too. Currently, the brand has only 9 variants of its mighty 911 in India and a total of 20 variants are available globally. Now, seeing the appreciation its 911 is getting worldwide the company has added another variant to the portfolio, which has been christened as 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series. And the irony is that the company will only produce 500 units of its exclusive baby for the global market.

Though no official words have been out on the price of the Exclusive Series, we could expect it to fall somewhere between Rs. 3.5-4 crore in India, considering the price of existing 911 Turbo S model, which is tagged at Rs. 2.68 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Destined to be counted as one of the rarest Porsches, the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series will be the perfect example to show off the excellent work done by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur – Porsche's in-house workshop, which has been stationed at the Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen based headquarters of Porsche. According to the brand, this exclusive branch has got specialization in customization and takes care of the special and limited editions for the marque. And this can be seen in the chronograph that has been designed especially for the Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series to match its rareness.

Let's discuss about its fireball, i.e. the engine. It is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-litre flat-6 engine that is also energizing the standard 911 Turbo S. However, the power and torque figures have seen an upgrade by 27PS and 50Nm and now the churned out power is 607PS along with a peak torque of 750Nm.

With these figures, this limited edition of 911 becomes the most powerful 911 ever produced. The car can make a sprint of 0-100Kmph in mere 2.8 seconds where the 0-200Kmph can be covered in 9.6 seconds, thus quicker by 0.3 seconds than its standard version.
