Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder Launched in India for Rs. 3.89 Crores

The Italian exotic cars manufacturer, Lamborghini, has finally launched the highly awaited convertible version of its popular sports car, Huracan, by the name of Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder. Unveiled first at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the topless beauty will be available in the Indian car market for a hefty price of Rs. 3.89 crores (ex-showroom Delhi). This launch also marks the beginning of a new Lamborghini's showroom in the dream city, Mumbai.

The Lamborghini Huracan was launched way back in 2014 as a replacement for the historic Gallardo and living up to the expectation of the Lambo lovers and the brand itself, the sports car was successful in paving its way in the cut-throat competition and making a separate identity among the other contemporaries. The all-new Huracan LP Spyder carries the legacy and design of its parent car but with a slight yet prominent change – a retractable roof.

The convertible is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 powertrain that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 602bhp along with a peak torque of 560Nm. The electronic all-wheeldrive system in collaboration with a Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF) 7-speed dual clutch gearbox carries the function of sending power to all the four wheels.

Though the new chic on the board has gained some weight, it can easily manage to 'own the sky' through its top-of-the-line performance figures that include and speedy acceleration of 100kmph from a standstill in mere 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 324kmph. Coming to the main and prominent highlight of the beast, the retractable top of the Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder manages to open and close easily in hardly 18 seconds when the car is running at a speed of 50 kmph. When compared to its ancestor, Gallardo, the Huracan Spyder is blessed with a lighter yet stiffer chassis that has direct relationship with the speed and performance.

The Italian carmaker has launched the Huracan Spyder in Strada, Corsa and Sport driving modes that can be easily switched using the ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management) akin to what has been provided in its coupe sibling, the Huracan. You can also tailor this sexy convertible to give it the taste of your own personality.

With Huracan Spyder ruling the road, you being a proud owner, don't have to compromise in terms of torsional stiffness and aerodynamics. The two fins placed at the rear provide air-flow to the V10 powermill that is mounted at the rear. The company has give the look of a cockpit to the interior with a bundle of switches and knobs and why not as cruising a Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder is nothing less than flying an aeroplane. Yes, with this beauty on your name, you can identify yourself as the Tom Cruise of Top Gun!
