The Bavarian carmaker is all set to launch the 7th generation of its mighty 5 Series in India on the upcoming June 29 for which the company has already started taking the pre-bookings for the same through its official dealership stores. For the unversed, the 2017 BMW 5 Series made its foray into the automobile world last year in the month of October. BMW will introduce its middle child in 3 engine options where 2 will be diesel operated and one will be petrol powered.

The 5 Series from BMW is considered to be the most perfect example of quality and class and taking its league forward, the new members of the family, to be called as G30, have borrowed the design cues from the 7 Series – the flagship lineup of BMW. To be available in choices of 3 engine options, the 520d and 530d will carry the diesel engine whereas the third member, 530i, will have petrol motor.

With recently launched long wheelbase E-Class executive sedan by Mercedes-Benz, the competition has already reached to next level. And not to forget the Swedish carmaker, Volvo, which is making its foothold stronger in the Indian market with its fully imported S90 and the British marque Jaguar which has grabbed many eyeballs with its locally manufactured XF to promote make in India concept. And the race is incomplete without involving the 4 rings in the list with its A6 which is supposed to appear in an all new avatar next year.
